Hillary Clinton's Power Suit Gets a Reebok Makeover

First Lady. Senator of New York. Secretary of State. The list of Hillary Clinton’s accolades goes on and on. Now the presidential candidate may have a new title to add to her long résumé: fashion trendsetter. Don’t believe us? Just take a look at some of Clinton’s ladylike, and dare we say, presidential-worthy looks that have been the subject of praise from fashion editors, celebs, and social media stars alike. There’s even an Instagram account called @hillarystreetstyle, which juxtaposes the political powerhouse’s old and new sartorial ensembles next to celebs who’ve worn similar outfits. Remember the bright yellow Zadig & Voltaire pantsuit Beyoncé wore last year? Well, Clinton donned a similar suit years ago—with a chic straw hat to match.

Despite the many jokes her now-iconic pantsuits have brought on over the years (Clinton poked fun of her own style multiple times, as well), the presidential nominee has amassed an extensive wardrobe full of high-end labels such as Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani. It’s certainly clear that the former Secretary of State has never had any difficulty dressing for the job. Nonetheless, in case she’s needs a last-minute pantsuit to wear to the final presidential debate tonight, Reebok has a few suggestions. The activewear brand designed a few athleisure-inspired pantsuits for Clinton using its performance-friendly ActivChill fabric that keeps the body comfortable and cool—perfect for the heated discussions we are bound to witness tonight.

12 Michelle Obama quotes that will make you say "I'm With Her":

Clinton can choose from three options: a bright blue suit with jogger pants and mesh collar; a wide-legged white cape suit with black tuxedo stripes and a matching strappy sports bra; and a sleek black jumpsuit with a matching jacket—all of which we want in our wardrobe, as well.

"We wanted to imagine a collection of pantsuits that highlighted power and strength,” said Inga Stenta, Reebok's senior director of brand management. “Women like Clinton are tough and unapologetic. Although we don't often see candidates sweat, the bright lights of the debate and the pressure of the national stage can raise temperatures. Performance wear seems to be the perfect choice for situations like this."

While it’s unlikely that Clinton will wear one of these suits tonight (our bets are on Ralph Lauren, a brand she’s worn at the last debate and other major televised events during the campaign), we can totally see her rocking these suits at a casual, outdoor event—maybe while strolling around the White House lawn? We’ll know next month.
