Kendall Jenner Wore A Super Glittery Dress for Her 21st Birthday

It’s not everyday that one of the world’s most talked about models turns 21.

Last night in Los Angeles, Kendall Jenner celebrated her birthday a day early with a dinner and party hosted at swanky supper club Delilah. Of course, all of our eyes were on her sparkly dress. The supermodel chose an insanely glittery plunging backless minidress—the fabric is so shiny, it looked like a holograph. The dress was custom made for the model by Lebanese designer Antoine Salameh, under his own brand LaBourjoisie. Jenner’s stylist, Monica Rose, has had a longstanding relationship with the designer. “[Rose] reached out to our p.r. company requesting a custom look for Kendall. The dress took two weeks from inception to creation,” he told WWD.

LaBourjoisie is well-known for its red carpet-worthy gowns, which have been worn by the likes of Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, and Nicki Minaj, to name a few. Jenner sent the designer photos of 1920s styles for inspiration. She kept the look minimal with a neutral fur, clear clutch and Perspex heels.

At Catch, the celeb hotspot where Jenner celebrated her birthday last night, the model’s friends were just as stylish. Hailey Baldwin sported a pair of black shorts, an architectural top and knee-high fishnet socks, while Kylie Jenner wore a pair of lace-up pants, heels and a transparent mesh top.

Since Jenner’s birthday is technically today, we wouldn’t be surprised if she has a second, equally celeb-packed birthday bash on the horizon for tonight. After all, both Jenner and Baldwin had two looks for the party last night. Before the model put on that incredible dress, she wore a transparent textured jumpsuit with a green fur scarf into the restaurant and Baldwin wore a crop top with oversized pants. Why not wear as many looks as possible on your birthday?
