The Best Movie Makeovers Ever

A basic suburban housewife, Roberta Glass (Rosanna Arquette) buys a cool jacket from New York City wild-child Susan, played by the inimitable Madonna. After an accident, she wakes up with amnesia (a common affliction in ’80s movies) and is mistaken for the original hipster. She tries on the new identity and free-spirited life that comes with it, along with bleached highlights, floppy hair bows, red lips, and a bad reputation. Being Susan isn’t as much fun as it looks, but the makeover lets her try on something she is, uh, desperately seeking: the passionate, risk-taking part of herself.
