When I was little, I basically watched Beauty and the Beast until the VHS broke. Seeing my favorite childhood movie come to life with the new Beauty and the Beast trailer that was released today just about took my breath away. For a second, I thought I fell asleep at my desk (I mean, it is Monday), and I was in some kind of dream.
Emma Watson looks absolutely stunning as Belle in her classic outfits like the yellow ball gown and the everyday white-and-blue dress. We couldn't have picked a better Belle. Now that her Harry Potter days are over, it's awesome to see actress in another storybook role. (Speaking of which, Storybook Cosmetics should come out with a Beauty and the Beast palette.) Also, seeing the castle and all its inhabitants come to life in the live-action film trailer definitely made my inner child squeal a bit. It just looks so cool, guys. Chip is still the cutest cup ever. Oh, and Gaston is simultaneously handsome and terrifying as he is in the animated version.
