UPDATE (December 28, 2016 3:50 p.m.): The first real look at Bella Hadid's Chrome Hearts collaboration is here. The model showed off a furry coat and a adorable patent-leather hat on Instagram. The brand's own account also posted a teaser of the collection, which includes a "Fuck You" baby tee. Yup, it's going to be an epic line.

We love Bella Hadid for her fierce runway walk just as much as we do for her edgy style. Bralettes, '90s-inspired chokers, and crop tops with sweatpants or oversize camo pants are just a few of her favorite wardrobe basics that we can regularly take inspiration from.
And with more than 8 million Instagram followers, a contract with Dior beauty, and runway appearances for brands including Victoria’s Secret and Chanel, it was only a matter of time before the model linked up with a major brand on a fashion collaboration. Earlier today, Hadid posted an Instagram photo of herself wearing a gothic Chrome Hearts tee with a comment that read: “So damn excited! You have no idea what's coming! My new collection with @chromeheartsofficial designed by me, shot by my angel mother @laurielynnstark❤️ I CANT wait for you all to see what we've made! Follow @chromeheartsxbella for more 😻🏁❤️ #chromeheartsxbella coming soon soon soon...”
Presumably, the collection will include the tee Bella was sporting, but it’s also possible there will be jewelry—which the brand is best known for—and hopefully a wide range of other Bella-approved looks. Chrome Hearts was founded by Richard and Laurie Lynn Stark during the 1980s. Richard and Laurie’s daughter, Jesse Jo Stark, is also a well-documented friend of Hadid on Instagram. And much like sister Gigi Hadid's collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger, this partnership marks the younger Hadid’s first foray into fashion design, as well.

As for the brand, Chrome Hearts is known for its rocker aesthetic—think chunky bracelets and necklaces with Celtic crosses and biker-inspired motifs with a luxury price tag to match. The rings alone can retail for over $1,000, while the aviator sunglasses, which have become somewhat of a signature of the brand, also range upwards of $1,000 for their white gold plated details and such.
In 2011, Kate Hudson collaborated with the brand, and earlier this month, the brand partnered with buzzy fashion brand Off-White on a line of limited-edition T-shirts, following a successful collaboration from 2015. If news of Bella Hadid x Chrome Hearts and the recent Off-White collection is any indication, it looks like Chrome Hearts will be on everyone’s minds as a cool brand to watch going into 2017.
