The Make Up For Ever x Jessie J Collaboration Is Going to Be So Good

We've all gotten her super-catchy songs stuck in our heads and soon, we can have a Jessie J lipstick that will stay put on our lips. The Make Up For Ever x Jessie J collaboration is launching next year with a line of lip paints called Acrylip. The highly pigmented gloss-like stain will come in ten brand-new shades as the third installment of Make Up For Ever's Artist series, which highlights a stage artist and their makeup artist—but more on that later.

In this case, the lip paints with Jessie J aren't the only thing to get excited about. Make Up For Ever will launch three other new products with the British singer throughout 2017—all inspired by Jessie J's playful style and fearless self-expression. Let's be real, no one has gone through more hairstyles than this girl. Remember when she shaved her head? Iconic. And let's not forget the "Price Tag" singer's love of bold lipstick. Her music videos always seem to feature a badass shade that we want to buy asap. Speaking of which, Make Up For Ever is giving Jessie J the reigns to create the music videos of her dreams featuring each new product with makeup looks created by her longtime makeup artist Sammy Mourabit. For the Acrylip, she did a remix of Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” which was released today. You can watch the neon light-filled video below. The Make Up For Ever x Jessie J collab isn't the first time the cosmetic company has paired up with a pop star. Earlier this year, Charli XCX was the first face of the Artist series, promoting with a range of colorful eyeliners. The product even won a Best for Beauty award this year for best waterproof liner. Then, Make Up For Ever relaunched their lipsticks with two limited-edition shades from the Swedish electropop duo Icona Pop. And just like the liners, they are Allure editor faves.

"I enjoy transforming myself and using my look to express different parts of my personality,” Jessie J said in a statement. “I’m collaborating with Make Up For Ever because the brand inspires me to express myself without limitation and I genuinely adore its products. The freedom I’ve experienced working with [the company] coupled with the make up’s incredible performance is what artists dream of." And we'll piggyback off her statement to say that inspired collaborations that bring together powerhouse talents across platforms is what beauty editors dream of, too.
