Audrina Patridge and Corey Bohan, who married in late 2016, are reportedly separating.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Patridge filed for divorce on Wednesday following a series of incidents she considers menacing and emotionally abusive," TMZ writes. The divorce filing comes after the alum of The Hills was granted a temporary restraining order against Bohan on Monday.
According to the restraining order request, Bohan harassed Patridge in their home earlier this month. "Grow some balls and pull the trigger and file for divorce," the professional BMX biker reportedly told Patridge, who was holding their 15-month-old daughter Kirra Max at the time, per TMZ. She filed a report of the incident with the police, and child protective services visited the house on September 15. The court documents show that Patridge, 32, decided to file the restraining order after Bohan, 35, crashed a beauty panel in which she was participating over the weekend and started verbally harassing her about Kirra's whereabouts. "I was shaking at this point," Patridge reportedly noted in the documents.
In a statement to People after news broke of the split, Patridge's rep said, "Audrina's number-one concern is for her daughter and she asks for privacy at this time."
Patridge and Bohan, who began dating in 2008, were engaged in November 2015, welcomed Kirra in June 2016, and married in a low-key ceremony on the beach in Hawaii in November 2016. The former reality star opened up about her relationship with Bohan in a 2013 interview with Us Weekly, during which she said the athlete was the love of her life. "With other guys I dated in the past, I never felt safe," she said. "We'd go out and I felt like I had to defend them, and so with Corey I feel like I'm safe — he's a guy's guy. He's not afraid to get dirty and that's what I like about him. He's not super metro."
