Stila’s New Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows Are Gorgeous

If you, like us, have been eagerly awaiting details on the new Stila Liquid Eyeshadows since the brand previewed the new collection during New York Fashion Week, you're in luck: It looks like the wait is finally over.

On Thursday evening, the makeup gurus over at Trendmood shared a sneak peek of Stila's new Shimmer & Glow collection on Instagram, giving us a first look at not one but two of the upcoming shades in the eight-piece spring collection. In addition to Jezebel — the warm rose gold shade worn by models during the BCBG Max Azria spring/summer 2018 show — the collection will include a rich, gold-flecked olive shadow dubbed La Douce, and a cool, iridescent icy blue shade called Freedom.

Unlike it's best-selling predecessor, Glitter & Glow, the Shimmer & Glow line won't be sparkly, per se: Stila Cosmetics' creative artistry director, Sarah Lucero, describes the upcoming line as 'more [of] an eye gloss."

That's good news — because as much as we loved the Glitter & Glow line (and we really did), there are only so many situations in which a full-on glitter eye is appropriate. Shimmer, on the other hand, can be worn anytime, anywhere.

The same sneak peek also included a preview of Stila's upcoming Stay All Day Sheer Liquid Lipstick, a stripped-down version of the brand's beloved long-wearing lip colors. Details on this are scarce: It’s unclear if the Sheer Liquid Lipsticks will be launching around the same time as the Shimmer & Glow shadows, or even if there will be more shades than the one rosy-pink color previewed in Trendmood’s post.

That said, it looks like Stila is gearing up for several spring launches — including Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows, which will be $24 each at stilacosmetics.com — so we'll be crossing our fingers for a full Sheer Liquid Lipstick line.
