Instagram is a fantastic place to go to for makeup inspiration. For makeup amateurs like me, such inspo rarely goes beyond just looking, as I'm often scared I won't be able to translate what I see on my glowing iPhone screen to my own face. Though I have tried some looks from the 'gram in the past (like this inner-eye strobing trend) with some success, it's safe to say that a new look posted by makeup artist Amy Huisman is for pros only, as it involves perfectly-applied studs that look as dangerous as they do fierce.
Huisman posted a photo of the look on her Instagram account @amythedutchess and captioned it "Spikey🔥." The main components she used to create the badass look include Morphe Ready, Set, Gold! Eyeshadow Palette ($23), Nyx Matte Liquid Liner in Black ($6.99), Nyx Slide On Eyeliner in Jet Black and Glitzy Gold ($7.99). She also used spiked studs from AliExpress.

This is not the first time Amy has created a look with the spiked studs. She's also used pearls in the past to create another gorgeous 3D eye look. I don't know about you, but I'll be watching her feed for more inspiration — even if I'll never get the courage to try her looks out at home.
