Though Lady Gaga has toned down her avant-garde fashion choices for her Joanne-era, the singer still knows how to put a damn good outfit together. And there's no better reason to go all-out than a holiday party. For the fête, Gaga went full Kris Kringle and transformed herself into one of Santa's naughty helpers. Mother Monster wore a green lace-up bodysuit featuring puffy sleeves and an oversized train, and wore thigh-high red-and-white-striped socks on her feet. But it was her flawless hair and makeup, which included Galadriel-quality elf ears, that stole the show. Someone get the casting director of The Lord of the Rings on the phone because her long, super-platinum hair (complete with gold leaf headpiece) was giving off serious Lady of Light-meets-Daenerys Targaryen vibes.
To finish off the look, Gaga wore a super-dramatic black and glitter smokey eye and a bright red lip color (which could be her go-to Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon, the formula she wears during her Joanne tour that lasts 16-plus hours and launches on December 12). She also wore a glittery beauty mark for accent. Gaga dubbed herself Santa’s naughty elf, "Mistress Claus," and posted several photos of the lewk to Instagram, including one with her sister, Natali Germanotta, who went as a more traditional Mrs. Claus. One group picture with the entire Haus of Gaga included someone dressed as an actual Christmas tree, properly trimmed with tinsel and ornaments, which recalls a time where the old Lady Gaga added a live Christmas tree to her green hair.
