Tattoo Artist Creates Rihanna Portraits Using Fenty Beauty Makeup

There’s a lot to love about Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty, which is so groundbreaking it was named an “Invention of the Year” by Time magazine last year. It’s easy to see why: RiRi’s range of 40 foundation shades literally set a new standard for the beauty industry and Fenty has been flying off shelves since the second it dropped.

The most RiRi-worthy way to celebrate? With tribute body art — which happens to resemble tattoos — created using only Fenty Beauty products, naturally.

Alena Wedderburn is a tattoo artist from Prague and a Fenty Beauty superfan. According to People, she owns every single item in the Fenty collection and is putting it to the best damn use we’ve ever seen.

To creatively convey the RiRi love, Wedderburn started painting super-realistic portraits of Rihanna on her body using only Fenty products, meaning she is creating body art as badass as Rihanna herself. The process is detailed AF and pretty incredible to watch, like a tattoo sans needles.

Here’s some of Wedderburn’s finest Fenty work. We have a feeling Rihanna herself would be very proud.

In this one, you can see the Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipsticks, which we've written about previously, in action:

Here, she creates Rihanna's look from the Wild Thoughts music video, using the Fenty Beauty Galaxy Palette.

I mean, if that isn't stunning, I don't know what is. This is definitely the most meta use of makeup ever.
