Oh, Etsy. It's pretty likely we all have a love story with an Etsy item, be it a perfectly crafted handbag, a lovely piece of art, a favorite scented candle, or the most relaxing bath product we've ever found. The platform, which has over 1.9 million sellers and 50 million unique items, is a fantastic place to shop for pretty much anything you could ever dream up — and now, Etsy has launched the World of Etsy sales event from now until March 29 to make your shopping experience that much more delightful.
If you're scratching your head and trying to remember the last time Etsy did a sales event, that's because it doesn't happen often. While individual sellers may have sales in their shops, a huge sale like this is pretty rare. David Zhang, GM of Etsy Markets, said in a press release, "Shoppers can visit The World of Etsy Sales Event to unearth a wide selection of items across our marketplace, from home decor to jewelry and accessories, and everything in between. The sales page, curated by whimsically named categories or 'lands,' is easy to sort through by price, discounts, and ready-to-ship items, so shoppers can feel good about saving and feel even better about supporting makers, designers, and small businesses."
It's true — the sale page is organized by brightly-colored "lands" (like Pet Paradise, Personalized Place, and Celestial Skies) for you to explore, or you can just scroll to your heart's content.
