The Belif Moisturizing Bomb Cushion Compact Is the Bomb

Every time my friends complain about dry skin, I direct them toward Belif's The True Cream Moisturizing Balm. So when the Belif Moisturizing Bomb Cushion Compact recently launched, I had to try it. Its predecessor is my holy-grail moisturizer (and many Allure editors swear by it, too). The thick-but-lightweight cream gets rid of flakes fast. Plus, it leaves skin plump and hydrated for an entire Black Mirror marathon (a.k.a all day and all night long). Thankfully, the new cushion compact combines those magical hydrating powers of the moisturizer with BB cream, which is perfect for the chilly, dryness-inducing fall temperatures. I don't know about you, but my skin needs all the hydration that it can get right now.

The cushion compact comes in an adorable black-and-yellow case that's spill-proof, so you can throw it in your purse for mid-day touch-ups. You'll find an antimicrobial puff in a separate compartment on top of the BB cream-soaked cushion when you pop it open. The cushion is made out of the company's patented Micro-Foam, so it holds up to four times more product than most cushion compacts on the market right now. Going on the skin, the formula feels just as great as the moisturizer does. It manages to be richly hydrating, but also refreshing—you may almost fee like it's not even there. However, it still provides full coverage to help even out skin tone and cancel out redness. With the addition of comfrey leaf and ceramides, your skin is sure to retain all the moisturizing goodness you've just dabbed on.

My favorite part about the cushion compact is its brightening effect. Whenever I use it, my skin looks radiant all day long, even on days where I'm ready to take a nap the second I wake up. Belif promises 26-hour hydration and coverage, but I hope really you're washing your face before bed.

Unfortunately, there's a catch to all of this awesomeness. The Belif Moisturizing Bomb Cushion Compact only comes in two shades at the moment. Unfortunately, they cater to lighter skin tones. The Natural Beige is a, well, beige for those with cool undertones, and Light Beige is for warmer undertones. If your skin tone fits into that limited range, you can buy the cushion compact now for $42 on sephora.com.
