I just noticed something. Every Kat Von D palette has two sides: highlighting and contouring for the Shade + Light palettes, metallic and matte for the MetalMatte one, and theToo Faced collab comes with halves that make up a heart. Of course, the newest Kat Von D Saints + Sinners palette is no different. However, it has holier connotations this time. The makeup artist gave her Instagram followers a peek into the planning process for the upcoming palette. In a photo she posted yesterday, she showed the names that she's considering for its shades.
Under Saint, she lists just the light, virtuous words you would expect, including Salvation, Prayer, and Scripture. Then, on the other side, she lists some darker names for Sinner, such as Devil, Exorcism, and Ashes. No matter which names she settles on, there's one thing for sure. The shades in the Kat Von D Saints + Sinners palette will be inspired by a stained glass window Von D saw in a cathedral.

Knowing Von D's dedication to vegan makeup, it's no surprise that she added the hashtags #vegan and #crueltyfree to the caption. With her latest launches, she has been sure to use ingredients that haven't been tested on animals and are fully vegan. Von D also wrote that the release of the new Kat Von D palette will coincide with the relaunch of the OG Saint and Sinner perfumes. She has hinted at the perfumes several times on her Instagram, but hasn't given an exact date just yet.
Von D loves posting behind-the-scene looks at her upcoming launches, so I'm hoping some swatches or a picture of the palette is coming soon. I'm so ready to see what the Kat Von D Saints + Sinners palette will look like. Can I get an amen?
