Jessica Chastain Is a Brunette Now

Forget what you know about blondes. Brunettes have the most fun. Brown is a color that can easily transform to a deeper chocolate tone, lightened to a warmer golden shade, or switched to ombré within minutes (okay, maybe longer but it sure is faster than going very dark to light). Jessica Chastain got this memo and was recently spotted on the set of Molly’s Game wearing a deep brown color with soft, subtle curls that looked amazing.

Thanks to her longtime hairstylist, Renato Campora (he's the guy responsible for her stunning straight bob), Chastain has become the redheaded Queen over the years. Aside from the blonde wig she wore in The Help, we can’t remember the last time she had a drastic color change. Can you?

Let's jog down memory lane: In the spring of this year, The Huntsman: Winter's War star chopped off her hair into an asymmetrical lob right before her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. And, in February Chastain showed up at the Independent Spirit Awards with piece-y architectural angle curls. All of which we’re still coveting, but her hair is her signature auburn shade more often than not. That's why we seriously couldn't be happier to announce that Jessica Chastain is a brunette

We aren’t certain if the new look is a wig or extensions, or if she took the plunge and changed her actual strands, but the fact that Jessica Chastain is a brunette is enough to make us smile and run to the salon before we hit our first holiday party of the season.
