Kith and Iro Release the Must-Have Shearling Coat for Fall

As far as fashion collaborations go, Kith is king. The New York-based fashion retailer is known for its frequent collaborations with multiple (and sometimes unexpected) brands that conjure up highly covetable products that bring out the '90s fangirl in all of us. The label recently launched a throwback line featuring Power Rangers, which consists of an assortment of hoodies, tees, crewnecks, and caps that seriously brought on some waves of nostalgia. For foodies, Kith built pop-up shops in New York City and Miami earlier this month in partnership with beloved cereal brand Cap'n Crunch.

On Friday, the streetwear purveyor will unveil its latest collection with French fashion brand IRO. Kith owner Ronnie Fieg met with the IRO team in Paris during fashion week and immediately fell in love with the brand's chic-meet-edgy aesthetic and the quality of its products, including the fabrics. "From there it was about translating IRO's unique design language through the Kith lens in a way that could resonate with both the IRO and the Kith customer," Fieg tells Allure.

Within the nine-piece collection, you'll find elements of effortless Parisian style mixed with New York's downtown edge. There are cream-colored shearling coats with asymmetrical zips and a bomber jacket embroidered with the names of both brands. The New York sensibility comes through in the laid-back lace-up crewneck, sweatpants, and men's oversized hoodie. Best of all? You can pull off the looks at an urban setting as well as the countryside. For proof, just take a look at the gorgeous look book, which was photographed in upstate New York. "The partnership with Iro was very organic," says Fieg. "I believe the end result is a strong statement on what is considered 'high fashion' today, as the lines continue to be blurred. Kith and Iro share this vision, which has culminated into this beautiful assortment of products."

Kith made its New York fashion week debut in September with a collection that emphasized the many collaborations Fieg experimented with in the past, including capsules with brands such as Columbia, BAPE, Aimé Leon Dore, Timberland, and Off-White, to name a few. Priced between $175 to $2,495, the Iro x Kith collection will arrive in stores, online, and Bergdorf Goodman this Friday, and will likely be worn by the likes of Hailey Baldwin and Gigi Hadid, who are both fans of the brand.
