If you ask me (Allure's self-appointed highlighter expert), Nikkie Tutorials is the illumination queen. And her game has gotten even better lately. She's been teasing the upcoming Maybelline New York Master Strobing Liquid with some major glamour shots on Instagram over the past few days. In the pictures, the beauty vlogger's cheekbones looked more lit than the supermoon. What more could you possibly want from a highlighter?
Maybelline New York already has an awesome strobing stick, which launched earlier this year, but the new liquid that's launching next year is much more versatile. The stick is great for swiping onto cheeks while on the go, but the strobing liquid can be used as more than just a highlighter. You can mix a couple drops of it with your foundation or moisturizer for all-over radiance and dewiness. When you start struggling with dull winter skin, you can also use the strobing liquid as a brightening primer under your base makeup.

At just $9.99, the Maybelline New York Master Strobing Liquid is an cheaper alternative to the often sold-out Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops and the M.A.C. Strobe Creams. Not one, but three shades will available, so the strobing liquid is not one-size-fits-all. For lighter skin tones, there's a lavender pearl. The rose gold one flatters medium skin tones, and the golden version is great for darker complexions. All will be available in January 2017 at your local drugstore.
