Miranda Lambert Responds to Haters in New Instagram Post

Miranda Lambert has had enough of the internet trolls (no, not those trolls), and she took to Instagram on Thursday night to tell them all to back the heck off.

Here's how this all got started: On Wednesday, the country singer and her new beau, musician Anderson East, attended the Country Music Awards, and in honor of the occasion, Lambert posted a sweet red carpet pic of them on her Instagram the following day. "I had a great time last night celebrating country music at the CMA awards with my sweet ❤️ by my side! @andersoneast I'm a lucky girl!" she wrote in the caption, along with the hashtag, " #myBAMAboy."

Apparently, though, the trolls came out in full force, because later that day, Lambert posted another Instagram. Though the photo itself is completely gorgeous—Lambert can be seen looking ultra relaxed, literally riding her horse off into the sunset—this time, the caption contains some fighting words. The country star first explained, "This [photo] is one of those moments that I'm proud of. My friend Tommy snapped it on a trail ride on his phone at golden hour on the farm in TN. What a blessing. I'm wearing yoga pants and no makeup and I'm on the back of my beloved Leiani. A Gypsy Vanner horse. [sic]"

Lambert then went on to say that she saw the hurtful comments on her previous photo—and she's done with the negativity.

"But... Last night I was all dolled up and 'out on the town' with my sweet man at the CMA awards in Nashville," she wrote in the caption. "I was excited about the night and posted a picture. Just now when I looked I realized so many comments were judgmental and negative. Cowardly people hiding behind a keyboard or a cell phone writing their useless comments about our eyes and clothes and body language. What a bunch of bull sh*t. Thank y'all for reminding me why I read books, write songs, and spend most of my time with animals and people I trust and love."

You tell 'em, Miranda—and it's nice to know she's not letting anyone bring her down. It's no secret that Lambert was going through a rough time following her public divorce from fellow country singer Blake Shelton in 2015. But since she's found love again, it's no wonder Lambert is over all the hate.

Internet trolls, you've officially been warned.
