The Tarte Maneater Eyeshadow Palette Will Be Your New Everyday Palette

Remember Nelly Furtado's song "Maneater"? Well, it's stuck in my head for the first time since 2006 because Tarte's latest launch shares a name with the catchy tune. The Tarte Maneater Eyeshadow Palette is coming out next month, and you're going to love it as much as the song. (I had to choreograph a dance to it for a class in high school, so it's close to my heart TBH.) Unlike the 20-shade Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette, the new palette comes with a much smaller, less intimidating selection. All of its seven shades are the more neutral side compared to the Pro Palette and other recent palette launches. They range from everyday creams and golds to dimension-building warm-toned browns. Plus, one of the shades, Lace (a shimmery champagne), doubles as highlighter. I'm excited about the shades called Hypnotic, a metallic rust that's perfect for when I don't want to go too dark with my winter makeup, and Foxy, a bright yellow gold.

Beauty bloggers, like Jkissa and Laura Lee, teased the palette on their Instagram stories yesterday, and Lee showed swatches of each shade (expect for Purr) on her hand.

Don't you want to try Hypnotic (seen in the center) now?

Die-hard Tarte fans might remember the Maneater Mascara, which launched exclusively on QVC earlier this year in August. If you're unfamiliar with it, the soft-bristled brush claims to give lashes 23 times more volume. The mascara will be back next week, November 27, on tarte.com for $23. Tarte is also coming out with the Maneater Self-Sharpening Liner that will be released on December 4 for $20. (So many dates to mark on our calendars.)

Sadly, we will have to wait until December 28 to get our hands on the Tarte Maneater Eyeshadow Palette. It will be available for $29 on tarte.com. I want to try re-creating Gigi Hadid's glowy smoky eye look from the AMAs last weekend with it (and you should, too).

Speaking of Gigi's AMAs look, here are some more of our favorite beauty looks from the show:
