ICYMI, there was almost a Chrissy Teigen AMAs wardrobe malfunction last night. Well, maybe it was a little more than almost. The author, TV host, and social media star turned heads in a black Yousef Akbar gown that featured some seriously sexy side slits. The whole thing was seemingly held together with a single gold pin. Gorgeous? Very. Dangerous? Maybe a bit. It turns out, Teigen had a little trouble holding the whole thing together while she walked the American Music Awards' red carpet with husband John Legend. She might have shown off a little more than she was expecting. Oops.
In a new Instagram post, Teigen did her usual style run-down tagging everyone involved in her look. Jen Atkin did her hair, Mary Phillips did her makeup, and Kimmie Kyees did her nails. She also hilariously called out the California-based laser hair removal specialists Sev Laser Aesthetics, since everyone got a peek at how smooth and hair-free her, ahem, "hooha" is. Hey, it's her word!
"[A]pologies to anyone harmed mentally or physically by my hooha," she wrote referencing her wardrobe malfunction.

Of course, someone (a guy 🙄), called her out on Twitter, saying "What happened to being a lady?" But she had the perfect response: "I am pretty sure you could clearly see I'm a lady." The criticism of her sexy look kept coming, until she wrote: "[W]as walking. It floated. It's over. I can't take it back. Here is a formal apology. What else would you like?"

The same Twitter user responded writing that it's "understood" and they can now "sweep it under the carpet." Because I'm sure she was sitting by her phone waiting for him to forgive her for showing off her own body.
There was one man in her life that did try to help Teigen out. In one photo, Legend is seen trying to keep her dress in check. It's what all great husbands are for, right?
