The no-makeup movement has dominated the later half of 2016. From politicians such as Hillary Clinton going fresh-faced during a recent speech to celebrities including Kim Kardashian and Alicia Keys rocking a bare face, women everywhere are choosing to buck trends like contouring and bold lips in favor of showing off their natural beauty.
Now Drew Barrymore is the latest to jump on the makeup-free bandwagon. On Sunday, the 41-year-old actress posted a selfie to Instagram featuring a group of her closest friends, which includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, and Nicole Richie. The group—tightly bundled in hats, scarves, and winter coats—are seen posing in front of what looks to be snow-capped mountains. Each woman seems to have skipped makeup all together, looking seriously stunning. Of course we don't know for sure what products are on the actresses faces, but it's safe to say they're at least going for the no-makeup makeup vibe.
“[H]old onto those you love and climb a mountain together,” Barrymore captioned the photo. “I follow my friends. And when I am most in need, I hold on tighter."

The photo is just one of many that Barrymore has posted since Thursday using the hashtag #peopleilove. It's an exercise she started as a way to reflect on "people and moments that make life make sense to me," she wrote on Instagram. In addition to the celebrity-filled selfie, above, she's also shared photos of Jimmy Fallon, her Charlie's Angels co-stars, her late father, and her beautiful children using the hashtag.
For the final photo in the series, Barrymore posted a photo of herself in all her sweaty glory after an intense yoga session. "My heart is very open right now. Let us all be as good to each other as we have ever been. 2017, here we come," she wrote.
