Gigi Hadid Debuts Darker Hair for Winter

Winter is the perfect time to go dark. Not the I'm ignoring everyone for a month type-of-dark, but more like trying a rich brunette hue for your hair dark. Gigi Hadid is the latest celebrity to experiment with color this season as she was spotted with darker hair earlier this week. The new shade isn’t as deep as her BFF Kendall Jenner, but it’s a hue that’s worth a double—or triple—take.

If you zoom in (I mean, really get in there) and look closer it’s barely brunette and not that different from her blonde hair, but it’ still very gorge and a great winter color nonetheless. Now that the weather is cooler, we’re ready for her to go bold with color. Perhaps she’ll go fully dark brown and add a hint of light brown highlights? Or, maybe she'll surprise us with a burgundy ombre.

And, as obvious as it sounds, use color-protecting shampoo (we like ) and don't skip out on conditioner. If you’re hair is really in need of extra TLC, try using a hydrating masque instead. You'll look like Gigi in no time.
