Teen’s NSFW Photo Series Highlights Donald Trump’s Offensive Comments About Women

At this point, it's no secret that president-elect Donald Trump has said some pretty inexcusable things about women. There was the time he called his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton a "nasty woman" during a live presidential debate, the time he fat shamed a former Miss USA, the now notorious tape recording in which he advocates grabbing women "by the p*ssy," and near countless others. Not to mention, several women have accused Trump of sexual assault. But even though we've known much of this info for a while now, a new viral photo series is helping us to see just how damaging these comments are in a whole new way.

Aria Watson, a student at Clatsop Community College in Oregon, created the photo series titled #SignedByTrump, which features actual statements made by Trump written on the bodies of real women. Watson put the photos on Tumblr on December 8, and her post has since received more than 100,000 notes. Watson wrote in the post that she originally posted the pictures, which feature nudity, on Instagram and Facebook, but both sites had them removed.

Watson, 18, created the photo series as her final project for her Intro to Photography class, Buzzfeed reports. Watson said she hopes that her photos will inspire people to use their voices to make their opinions heard. "Don’t let anyone silence you," she told Teen Vogue. "Don’t be afraid to speak up about what you are passionate about. I don’t know why Donald Trump is in office, or how this even happened, but he is. What we need now more than ever is to come together. We are stronger together."
