You can shop chokers everywhere, too. They can cost thousands of dollars from a major designer, or just a few bucks from a chain such as Forever 21. And it's one from the latter store that's resulted in the Internet going crazy over what's being called the Forever 21 "neck brace" choker. The jokes that are happening are the kinds of jokes that can only come out of social media.
It all started with a Twitter user noticing a mammoth black zip choker paired with the retailer's Star Wars Baseball Jersey. Soon enough, Buzzfeed News noticed the outfit photo was making the rounds online. Some users were saying the choker resembles more a neck brace than a necklace. The general consensus? The choker trend has officially gone too far.

If you love the larger-than-life choker or the jersey, go for it. Life is too short not to have some ~fun~ with fashion. Well, the choker looks sold out online (for now), but there's always the somewhat equally large Fishnet Choker. Hey, no judgements.
