It’s been a few weeks since we've heard from Urban Decay. And just when I was beginning to wonder what the brand has in store for us The Urban Decay Afterdark palette appears on my Facebook feed in all of its jewel-toned glory. While the cult-fave beauty brand has had some major launches this year including their Naked Ultimate Basics Palette and Full Spectrum Palette (covering every color of the rainbow—literally), their latest creation is like an upgraded version of Moondust. In fact, it's so beautiful I've already bumped down a few items on my Christmas list to make room for this eye-catching kit.
The palette contains ten vibrant shades which all appear as if they were lightly topped with a bit of fairy dust. According to their post, the palette was inspired by "late-night rendezvous" in mind, which may explain some of the eery names like Druggie and Paralyzed. While their names may be a little off-putting Druggie is a pretty purple similar to the brand's signature color, and Paralyzed is a shimmering navy blue. The palette also includes Supersonic (a metallic burnt red) and Backfire (a metallic burgundy)—both great shades to help you recreate the on-trend maroon eye look. There is also Off Duty a neutral metallic copper which would work great day or night. However, Fringe a metallic teal is what instantly caught my eye. I have yet to try a metallic shade of that nature but this palette may just have me stepping out of my comfort zone.

So far all we know is that the palette is coming soon and will be available exclusively through Sephora. We're secretly hoping soon means tomorrow. We reached out to the brand, and as soon as we get more information we'll be sure to share. In the meantime you can catch me refreshing Urban Decay's Fb page about 100 times a day.
