The Too Faced Sweet Peach Apology Customers Have Been Waiting For Is Here

Despite patiently (and anxiously) waiting to get their hands on the newly launched Too Faced Sweet Peach collection, many customers still have yet to receive their favorite set of peach-scented eye shadow and highlighting palettes. Some received their orders by Christmas, as promised, while others continue to find themselves out of luck. Last night, the company sent out an email to its customers to apologize for the hold up. "Due to a glitch in our systems, many of your orders did not properly transmit to our warehouse, causing a delay in shipping," the statement said.

To make it right, co-founder Jerrod Blandino is offering Too Faced customers a 40 percent off discount on their next online order. Additionally, the cruelty-free company thanked everyone for their patience and support. Let's be real, we all have our "not-so-flawless moments", as Too Faced called this mishap.

Several customers who received the apology email took to Twitter in appreciation of Too Faced's gesture.

The coupon code the company provided, which is added at check out, does not apply to the new Kat Von D collab, which launched earlier this week. You can still get several shades of the Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Lip Oils, like Poppin' Peach and Pure Peach, for $11.40 each with the code. (You can watch Allure editors swatch them here.) The eye shadow palette is still available, as well, for $29.40. The company, however, did not include details on how long the code is eligible for in the email. We suggest taking advantage of the deal while you can (and while the Sweet Peach palette is still in stock).
