Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Repair Serum Is Perfect For Red, Blotchy Skin

If you had been a fly on the wall backstage at Kith’s spring ready-to-wear show, you’d have seen a cacophony of logos (Nike, Adidas, Moncler, Champion) scrawled on the coolest, cropped-est and slouchiest streetwear, an army of male and female models with very good cheekbones, and, in an unassuming corner, a woman dosing those models with droppers-full of a celadon-green liquid. And if you’d looked a little closer, you’d have seen that it was Dr. Jart’s Cicapair Tiger Grass Repair Serum, which didn’t yet exist. Well, not in stores, anyway.

In your case, the aggressor might be pollution. In my case, the culprit was a foundation that looked terrible and left my skin feeling dry. It was so bad that I had to take off my makeup off at work, with a makeup wipe (another recipe for unhappy skin, for me). After I had totally scrubbed my skin with a wipe to get off the dry, flaky skin my foundation left, my skin was red and blotchy and a little raw and completely unhappy.

And conveniently, the Repair Serum had just arrived at my desk. I smoothed on one dropper-full of the serum and waited. I read the label. It’s supposed to work by teaming soothing centella asiatica with copper, zinc, and selenium, which form a protective barrier on your skin. But who really cares, because five minutes later, my skin was totally back to normal. Business as usual. And, just like Kith’s models, I decided my skin looked so good that I didn’t really need foundation, either.
