Inoar Divine Curls Conditioner Review

TL;DR:

An oil-packed conditioner that leaves hair with just the right amount of moisture, so your hair can spring into soft, frizz-free curls

Two beauty products that I use way more of than I actually need are mascara and conditioner. The Inoar Divine Curls Conditioner is helping me cut down on the latter. Because my hair is fine and supercurly, I comb it only in the shower. I then usually load up on conditioner to help detangle the eventual rat's nest that forms at my ends after two to three days of not washing. (My ringlets tend to have minds of their own.)

When used in conjunction with the Inoar Divine Curls Shampoo, I have to use only a quarter-size amount of the conditioner. (In the past, I've been known to use a quarter of an entire bottle.) A little bit really does go a long way. The shampoo has magical powers that make my hair knot-free before I even touch the bottle of conditioner. The magic is thanks to a medley of hydrating oils, like argan, pequi, and macadamia, and the last two are in the conditioner as well. Both ingredients help maintain the softness that the shampoo leaves behind and add even more moisture to my curls.

The best part is the Inoar Divine Curls Conditioner doesn't make my hair too soft, which some conditioners formulated for curly hair tend to do. When my hair gets too soft, my curls look sad and deflated — it's like the softness removes their strength to spring into defined ringlets. Inoar's curl conditioner gave my hair just the right amount of moisture so I can air-dry it and still wind up with perfectly formed, frizz-free curls.

Two minor downsides of the Inoar Divine Curls Conditioner lie in its scent and packaging. If you're not one for beauty products that smell like fruity mixed drinks, the shampoo's piƱa colada–like scent might not appeal to you. (My nose still lives for gourmand scents like the Pink Sugar perfume of my youth, though, so I love it.) As for the squeeze bottle, it's not the most functional. I find myself unscrewing the top to dispense the product instead of trying to squeeze the rigid plastic. Both of these aspects, as I mentioned, are minor compared with the moisturizing, frizz-fighting results.
