Kris Jenner Reportedly Doesn't Want Kylie Jenner's Reported Pregnancy to Interfere With Kylie Cosmetics

After Caitlyn Jenner confirmed Kylie Jenner's pregnancy through a representative mere hours ago, the entire Internet has been waiting for Kris Jenner to react. And she just did — in the most momagerial way possible.

According to People, an insider source said Kris's initial response to her daughter carrying the latest addition to the Kardashian-Jenner clan was reportedly to make sure it wouldn't have an adverse effect on Kylie Cosmetics, the littlest Jenner's extremely successful makeup line. "Kylie has worked so hard to build that empire," the unnamed source told the publication. "Kris doesn’t want to see the pregnancy affect how that is perceived." "Of course, Kris will support Kylie being a mom,” the source continued. “But she is still adjusting to the surprise news.”

The source also said that "Kris is just trying to control what she can and make sure no one forgets Kylie is also a businesswoman." In August, Women's Wear Daily reported that Kylie Cosmetics has made over $420 million in just 18 months and is on track to grow by 25 percent. In other words, Kylie Cosmetics could be a billion-dollar company by the time Kylie's 25.

Last Saturday, Kris deferred to her daughter when speaking to The Cut. "She's not confirmed anything," she told the publication. "I think it’s kind of wild that everyone is just assuming that that’s just happening."
