Maybelline already has one of the most cult-famous mascaras out there (shout-out to Great Lash, we're talking about you!) but they have a few other great mascaras, as well, including The Colossal Volum Express and The Falsies. However, they're not content to stop there, and Allure recently caught up with makeup artist Grace Lee backstage at NYFW to chat about what's next for the brand, which (spoiler alert) includes another gorgeous mascara. What she had to say about the launch is super exciting.

The new mascara is called Maybelline Total Temptation and is apparently so luxurious that only one coat is needed for full impact. "It's almost too amazing, one layer is almost too much. Some people are like, it's never too much but on this look, it's almost too much," Lee said. It truly can be argued that one can never have too much mascara on, so long as it isn't clumping, though the look they were going for at the Public School show was pretty natural so it's understandable what Lee was saying here.

Apparently, Total Temptation has coconut oil in it, which lends a delicious smell and healthy natural oil for the lashes. Says Lee, "I just couldn't believe how much product goes on the lashes." Such easy application made her job a dream while getting 40 models ready backstage at the NYFW Public School show, and will surely make getting ready each day a joy for all of us. Though we don't have an exact date of arrival, Parsons said it launches in 2018. We'll update this space with any more news.
