Mel B Debuts White Hair With Blue Glitter on "America's Got Talent"

Mel B has been very experimental with her hair as of late, playing with different unicorn hues. But her latest hairstyle, which she debuted on America's Got Talent while wearing alabaster lace jumpsuit, is worthy of X-Men's Storm or ice-blonde Game of Thrones monarch Daenerys Targaryen.

The AGT judge posed with her fellow cast members Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Simon Cowell. And let's be real: All eyes were on the Spice Girl's asymmetric 'do, which featured a silvery-white base covered in blue glitter on one side. On the other side, her waist-length white-blonde hair was left to hang free.

Of course, Mel B had some help pulling off this color thanks to some extensions. Achieving that blinding hue can definitely be a process, so we reached out to Kristan Serafino, who's done the hair of Ryan Reynolds and Jon Hamm, to see if regular people (translation: non-celebs) can pull a color like this on their own strands. Answer: Sort of. "It takes confidence, a whole lot of patience, and an eagerness" to get this Mother of Dragons-esque hue, she says.

If you're looking to dye your hair: "Bleacher beware! Since the hair must first be bleached and then stripped of color, it requires an experienced and talented hair colorist to protect the integrity of the hair strands. Your roots will need to be touched up regularly. Make sure your colorist has experience with retouching the roots," says Serafino. "Any overlap of bleach onto hair that has already been previously bleached can cause damage or worst case, breakage."
