Perez Hilton Said Kylie Jenner Should Get an Abortion

After news broke on Friday that Kylie Jenner may be pregnant, people had all kinds of reactions, including speculation and conspiracies. But Perez Hilton's reaction included telling Kylie that she should have an abortion.

In a YouTube video, Perez talked about Kylie's reported pregnancy. On top of doubting Jenner's relationship and claiming that her pregnancy is "great for business," Perez also said that Kris Jenner should tell Kylie to get an abortion.

"In case you haven’t been paying attention, Kylie Jenner has been dating rapper Travis Scott for what, um, five months, six months? And also, a reminder Kylie Jenner is 19 years old. Um, I love life, I love babies. If I were Kris Jenner, I would tell that girl to get an abortion!”

Kylie is actually 20, but her age is beside the point. It's not Perez's place to tell Kylie what she should or should not do with her body. There's nothing wrong with getting an abortion if that's what a pregnant woman chooses to do — it's a legal and safe part of reproductive health care. But no one has the right to pressure or direct a pregnant woman into having or not having an abortion. If Kylie is pregnant, what she chooses to do with her pregnancy is her choice, and hers alone.

In his video, Perez also claims that Kylie won't be a good mom.

“It’s just sad, because, I don’t want to project too much upon Kylie Jenner, but based on everything I know, I personally don’t think at 19 and given who she is, where she is at in her life, she’s going to be a great mom,” he said

Ultimately, Kylie is the only one who can decide what she does with her body. Whatever her choice, she should be supported.
