Ariana Grande Just Debuted Gorgeous Silvery Hair

Ariana Grande is known mainly for two things: her amazing singing voice and her signature look. Her signature look includes her long, lustrous hair, which is often kept in a high ponytail (either a half updo or the full monty). She occasionally plays with temporary hair colors and wigs, and though she has gone temporarily pink, purple, and blonde for video shoots and tours, she's never fully committed to a color other than the rich brown she usually sports. That's why, when she posted an Instagram of herself with silvery-toned locks this Saturday, I remained a bit skeptical.

In the post caption, Grande didn't indicate whether or not the color is real, writing simply "btw i (it's grey)." Fans seem convinced it's the real deal, asking her for her toner tips and saying things like, "This is just an amazing transformation 😍😍. I love grey hair." For what it's worth, her hairstylist, Chris Appleton, also posted an image of the potential new look to his account, saying, "LOVE the Silver vibes on @arianagrande Hair #chrisappletonhair @patrickta" so it's possible it could be the real thing, though the skillful touch of a hairstylist may also be needed for a wig, too.

Whether this is a temporary look or a long-term commitment for Grande, she looks absolutely gorgeous with the new color, and it's major inspiration for anyone who is considering going grey (or slightly lavender, as the filter makes her strands look in the photo). We'll just have to look out for more selfies from Grande to see whether the grey makes a repeat appearance.
