KKW Beauty Ultralight Beam Highlighters and Gloss Are Launching SO Soon

Days after the ever-so-sneaky TrendMood gave Instagram a sneak peek at KKW Beauty's latest launch, Kim Kardashian West made it official. Ultralight Beams are on their way. No, I'm not referring to physical copies of her husband's popular song. Instead, Kardashian West is paying homage to Kanye with her new highlighter and glosses. (And I subsequently have "Ultralight Beam" stuck in my head now.)

Starting next month, you'll be able to shop five shades of the Ultralight Beams, including a prismatic pearl, rose gold, and copper. The gloss is pretty self-explanatory. You can swipe it onto lips for a glittery, almost-holographic finish, as seen below. No tea, no shade, but the packaging looks like a KKW version of Stila's beloved Glitter & Glow Shadows. Hopefully you won't get them mixed up in your makeup bag. I'm not 100-percent sure if the Ultralight Beam glosses are eye safe, but I'm sure they'd look stellar on lids, too.

The highlighters, on the other hand, are unlike the KKW Beauty ones that have come before it. Unlike the Powder Contour & Highlight Kit and Creme Contour & Highlight Kit that launched in the past couple months, the Ultralight Beams are loose powders packed with sparkles. They seem to be less about giving skin a natural-looking glow and more about making your presence known to an alien species in another universe. They might even want to beam you up. (OK, I'll stop.)

You can even sweep them onto lids for a foil-like finish like Kardashian West did for this promo shot. I also wonder if she'll use the new highlighters on her shins, thighs, and shoulder blades for the holiday season like she does with the highlight sticks.

I mean she did cover her whole body with the shimmery stuff, but like on an everyday basis, do you think she'll use the highlighters beyond her face? Only time will tell.
