Lush Is Launching a 2.5 Pound Bath Bomb for the Holidays

If you're stumped on what to get your beauty-loving friends for the holidays this year, you're in luck: Green beauty brand Lush Cosmetics is launching two stocking stuffer-appropriate gifts for the holiday season, featuring the brand's fan-favorite Golden Wonder Bath Bomb.

The first seasonal special, dubbed the Giant Golden Wonder bath bomb, is a mega-sized version of the original tub sudser. Like its predecessor, it features fragrant cognac, lime, and sweet orange oils, which (aside from smelling amazing) help to revive dull skin.

Unlike the original, however, the Giant Golden Wonder bath bomb is huge. At roughly 2.6 pounds (!), the super-sized fizzer is about six times larger than the standard version. If you have a massive bathtub, the present-shaped turquoise-and-shimmering-gold bomb could be used all at once for one seriously over-the-top bath sesh — but for normal tubs, it's probably best to break it up into smaller bits (quarters would work well).

If you can't get your hands on the mega-sized bath melt (we expect it'll sell out as soon as it hits shelves), Lush is also launching a holiday Wrapped Gift pack, which includes one standard-sized Golden Wonder bath bomb and one (also standard-sized) Snow Angel luxury bath melt.

Unlike bombs, which fizz, the angel-shaped bath melt is a solid oil bar that slowly dissolves to release loads of shimmering, almond-and-rose scented gold foam. Packed with a slew of skin-softening oils and butters (including fair-trade cocoa butter and rose oil), it's a must-have for anyone who suffers from dry, itchy skin during the winter — in other words, pretty much everyone.

Both of Lush's seasonal gifts will retail for $19.95 at lushusa.com starting December 1. The Wrapped Gift pack will also be available in all North American Lush stores starting tomorrow, while the Giant Golden Wonder bath bomb is a bit more exclusive — it launches December 15, and will only be available in select stores nationwide. Finally, both will only be available for the holiday season, so if you want to indulge (or treat your friends) to either of these seasonal specials, you'd best scoop 'em up soon.
