Vogue Korea's Reallyyy? Eyebrow Extensions Video Goes Viral (Watch)

Between the pain and the sharp object involved, the concept of microblading could easily freak anyone out. Brow extensions — yes, brow extensions — may be the next best thing for those fearful folks who can't take the pain but still want to thicken up their arches. In fact, Vogue Korea recently posted a video the featured brow extensions to Instagram that has since racked up more than a million views, so it's clear that there's quite a bit of interest.

The quick clip shows someone crafting a full, realistic-looking brow out of a product that looks like a jar of gel mixed with hair trimmings. Once it's set, the brow can be brushed up, but it doesn't completely flake off. The magical product in the spotlight is called, oddly enough, the "Reallyyy? Eyebrow Extension." The name is extremely fitting as thousands of people were thinking to themselves, "Really? Eyebrow extensions exist?" after watching the video on Instagram.

The K-beauty brow-grooming product is similar to fiber mascaras, such as L’Oréal Paris's Voluminous X Fiber Mascara and Dior's Diorshow Mascara, which have become popular over the past several years. The fine, hair-like pieces build natural-looking volume by mimicking actual hairs. In the case of the Reallyyy? Eyebrow Extension, the fibers cling onto brows to make them look thicker, and the gel dries down for a long-lasting, sweat-resistant finish. In Vogue Korea's caption, it recommends brushing the brow extension gel only onto the tails of your brows to fill in gaps. You can check out the whole video below.

In 2016, a YouTuber showed off her unconventional method for creating brow extensions, which involved actually cutting off her hair and gluing the clippings individually onto her brows with lash adhesive. This is incredibly extra and time-consuming, but the results were pretty impressive. (You can also get a similar technique done at a salon._ Don't let me stop you from trying it out, but there are easier options. The Reallyyy? Eyebrow Extension is hard to track down in the U.S., but many beauty brands make similar brow gels infused with fibers. (Maybelline's and Make Up For Ever's are even Best of Beauty award winners.)The only difference is the thin threads are a bit shorter. The overall effect is the same, though. All you have to do is brush these fiber-packed wands onto your arches to help plump them up to Lily Collins-levels.
