Halsey was back on her feet and showing off a new look just in time for New Year's Eve. The singer, who broke her foot earlier in December 2017 and was relying on boyfriend G-Eazy to get around, looking utterly glam, channeling the spirit of Marilyn Monroe for her first look of 2018.
In another one of her signature hair transformations, Halsey cut her long locks for a close and curled pixie cut, first showing off the dramatic change in a post to her Instagram on December 29. This isn't the first time she's surprised us with a dramatic new hairdo. Back in May, she debuted a brand new buzz cut but has since been sporting a much longer style.

In a post on New Year's Eve, she showed followers the complete look, saying she was "on my Marilyn," wearing pieces of sparkling jewelry, a dark black dress that shined and sky-high stilettos that sparkled. She finished the look with Marilyn's signature bold red lip and a touch of eye makeup. Posing for the camera, she showed followers the detailing of her dress, which had sides weaved together in an intricate pattern of chains.

The transformation is a major change from the Halsey we just saw a few weeks ago, but she looked absolutely beautiful, pulling off a look that echoed the style and grace of old Hollywood.
