Wendy Williams has a reputation for sometimes being a bit harsh when it comes to celebrity gossip on The Wendy Williams Show — and she has again seemingly veered headfirst into controversial territory. While discussing Kylie Jenner's rumored pregnancy, Williams took shots at Kylie's looks, relationship, and Caitlyn Jenner, for seemingly no reason. During the "Hot Topics" segment, Williams said, "She's only twenty...but her twenty is more like 35 because she's grown up on cameras in front of us, plus she's got the mid-crisis makeover already," referring to Kylie's lip fillers. Williams continued, "Let me tell you something, you can do whatever you want to yourself, but the baby is still going to look like the old you."
We've had a lot to say in the past about the problems with speculating about plastic surgery and shaming women who do choose to enhance their bodies, and Wendy's rant clearly falls under the unnecessarily mean category. Not to mention the harmful implicit suggestion that the "old Kylie" is not beautiful.

Williams didn't stop there. She called Travis Scott and Kylie's relationship a "split and run," insinuating that the pregnancy was an accident and that Scott left his girlfriend after hearing the news, and speculates that the two have broken up because she's seen Travis "out with other girls." And just when you thought that Williams couldn't dig herself any deeper, she makes faces and inserts long, awkward, rather unkind pauses when referring to Caitlyn Jenner. "[Kylie's] dad is...well...now she's got two moms," the host said.
