This week, Kate Spade New York announced that not only will Miss Piggy be fronting the brand’s holiday ad campaign (alongside human style muses Jourdan Dunn and Catherine Baba), she’ll also be getting her own collection set to hit stores and KateSpade.com on December 1. The diva-worthy collection of accessories will feature a wristlet, wallet, tote, iPhone cases, jewelry line, sweater, and clutch, all peppered with Miss Piggy’s signature “Who, moi?” phrase. The predictably pink collection, which ranges from $48 to $378, nails the less-than-subtle touch every holiday party outfit needs.
Keeping with the whole holiday whimsy theme and the brand’s penchant for cheeky catch phrases, the full line of Kate Spade’s Miss Piggy-approved holiday collection is all about personalization. The campaign feeds the inner diva in all of us by encouraging the Kate Spade gal to “give it a twist” with personalization and lots of cheeky attitude for the brand’s latest line of poppy products—think a much more fun version of stately monograms.
“Attitude is everything,” Miss Piggy herself told WWD. “Your clothes should always make a statement. I like mine to say: ‘Yoo-hoo, everybody, look at me! I’m fabulous! Don’t you wish you were moi?’” Luckily, this season we can be.
