Amanda Seyfried Debuted Her Baby Bump—But I Love Her Eyeliner, Too

Yes, Amanda Seyfried debuted her baby bump at a Givenchy event yesterday, surprising both party-goers and the public at large with her pregnancy announcement. But Cheryl Cole announced her pregnancy the same way yesterday, too. My eyes, instead, went straight to Seyfried's makeup. Her eye makeup, obviously. Because those eyes.

It's not that I'm not happy for our Seyfried—congratulations are definitely in order for Seyfried and her fiance, Thomas Sadowski—but I cannot stop obsessing over her plummy, winged eye makeup. You see, instead of drawing blue liner along her lower lash line, like Olivia Munn and Janelle Monae have been lately—or, for her baby bump debut, perhaps trying out the red-eye shadow trend—the actress had a soft wash of baby-pink shadow across her lids. (Not to start rumors, but could her shadow be a hint at what she's having? If so, that's my kind of gender reveal.)

However, from far away, the look transforms, not unlike a Monet—the baby pink looks surprisingly sophisticated because Seyfried's makeup artist Tyron Machhausen smoked the pink out all the way to the tails of her brows using brown and rust hues, which make the pink shadow appear to be plum. With the addition of black liner along her waterline and slightly clumpy lashes, the eye makeup deserves to be added to our list of the best celebrity eye looks of 2016. To pull it all together together, Machhausen dusted Seyfried's cheekbones with a touch of petal-pink blush, like , and swiped some sheer gloss of the same shade on her lips.
Wanna have your own Amanda Seyfried debuted her baby bump eye-shadow moment IRL? Don't blame you. The Huda Beauty Textured Shadows Palette: Rose Gold Edition is your best bet for recreating this look. The pink shadows in foiled and matte finishes, as well as rusts and browns to be used as transition shades, are pretty spot-on if you ask me. Then, etch a black waterproof liner, like , along your waterline. And as for your lashes, well I highly recommend my go-to from Ardency Inn, but I know how personal the mascara struggle can be.

BTW, can you tweet us @Allure_magazine with your fave mascara? Because six of us couldn't stop talking about it last night.

Major congrats again to Seyfried—we wish her and Sadowski only the best.
