Bust out the glitter, it's time to get sparkly! Halsey served up some seriously cool holiday makeup inspiration with her American Music Awards beauty look: A gorgeous, glittery eye makeup move that she whipped out for her 2016 AMAs performance with The Chainsmokers on Sunday night.
Minutes after hitting the red carpet with a fresh-faced beauty look—which featured a subtle, dusty rose eye shadow and a glossy pink lip combo—the singer stepped on the stage for her "Closer" performance with a fierce eye shadow moment worthy of your undivided attention.
Leaving her red carpet look intact, she layered a show-stopping, iridescent silver glitter all over her lids. And while the shimmer had a major disco-ball effect under the strong stage lights, the fact the rest of her makeup was kept minimal meant that the overall effect was cool rather than cheesy—and cool in that nonchalant, oh-this-sparkly-stuff? sort of way.
And she didn't just switch up her makeup. Halsey wore a one-sleeve, hooded white minidress adorned with pins and studs and white and metal chokers.
