Heidi Klum is the unequivocal queen of Halloween. After weeks of teasing us in the lead up to her legendary Halloween party, the supermodel made her big appearance with not one, not two, but five (!) Heidi Klum clones on the red carpet last night.
In the past, Klum has teamed up with special effects makeup artists Mike Marino and Mike Fontaine from Prosthetic Renaissance to collaborate on a slew of outrageous costumes. There was a completely realistic granny transformation, and last year's epic Jessica Rabbit look. But the team just might've outdone themselves with this stunt. As the supermodel and host was teasing the costume on Instagram, I tried to put the pieces together hint after hint. I was way off. After seeing a video of a women in blinged-out leotards and a line of wavy blonde wigs, I thought maybe she was going for Beyoncé or Jennifer Lopez. (I wasn't the only one, as the comments and guesses on her posts reveal.) Heidi Klum clones was the furthest thing from my mind. The Klum brigade arrived inside a giant wooden box with the words "Made in Germany" emblazoned across the front. While Klum kept it simple by playing herself, her five clones showed off had some amazing prosthetic handiwork. Each woman uncanny almost freaky resemblance to Klum. They all donned white and gold body suits, thigh-high suede boots, Klum's signature beach waves, and even identical manicures to match.
