A Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm Is About to Drop

If you hoard Bite Beauty's Agave Lip Mask like it's going out of style (guilty as charged), there's no doubt you'll be pretty hyped to learn about the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm, a daily lip hydrator the lip-care brand has up its sleeves for the holiday season.

On Thursday, Bite Beauty shared a sneak peek of the upcoming lip treatment in an Instagram post, announcing the balm, which, according to the brand, is made with the same "hydrating properties," including agave nectar, as the mask before it. And the good news? It's coming soon. And with a friend. The balm, along with the Agave Sugar Lip Scrub, is set to hit virtual shelves on December 26, just in time for post-eggnog online shopping.

The Toronto-based lipstick company, which stepped onto the beauty scene in 2011 (and has recently been going viral thanks to its New York City-based Lip Lab, where you can customize your own tube of lipstick), has always been at the forefront of lip trends (it basically brought matte back into your life before matte was cool again), and is now returning to the basics with its new balm, a natural follow-up to its fan-favorite Agave Lip Mask. As a refresher, a few years ago the mask launched, giving users a daily, deep conditioning treatment for their pout, and now, it's reeling in the treatment to be used multiple times day.

So, what's the deal with the Agave Lip Balm? Touted as an everyday answer to its popular , a super-hydrating, leave-on treatment for your mouth that comes in three barely there nude shades. The Agave Lip Balm is a lighter, travel-friendly version made with Madagascan vanilla C02 extract to keep lips moisturized throughout the day. As much as we love the Agave Lip Mask (read: a lot) and basically every other product in its line (hi, Matte Crème Lip Crayons), we're not even going to try to hide the fact that this lip launch, made perfect for mid-day touchups, is anything but completely thrilling.
