Body hair has nothing to do with beauty, and everything to do with choice. In the U.S., the idea that women are supposed to shave our legs and armpits if we want to be desirable is outdated. If you want to shave your legs, go for it. But if you don't, you're still a beautiful goddess. Bella Thorne knows that, and she let a fan know.
Twitter user @Zurek23 tweeted a photo of Bella accompanied by a few shots of her legs and feet.
"@bellathorne is hot beautiful sexy perf but wtf SHAVE UR LEGS!!" he tweeted.

"HAHAHHA NEVER," Bella wrote.
This was a perfect response. In our society, men are not expected to shave anything if they don't want to, but women are told that they're unhygienic and unattractive if they have body hair. That literally makes no sense. And if men shave anything other than their face, they're seen as feminine. Honestly, this has to stop.
Body hair is a natural occurrence and there's no reason to apply beauty standards to it. Having leg or any other hair can be beautiful, and not having it can be too. The beauty is that we have that choice, and that's what should be celebrated. Lately, more and more people have been getting on that wave.
A hashtag started by Twitter user @adelelabo declared "Princesses Have Hair Too," and the goal was to show that anyone, including super femme princess types, can be super hair under their sparkly tights and that doesn't make them any less princess-y.
Maybe an even more convincing argument for leaving your body hair alone is that it can keep you healthy. Studies show any grooming at all of your pubic hair can increase your risk for STDs by 80%. Clearly your body hair has a purpose, and since healthy is beautiful, we're all about keeping it exactly where it is if that's what you want. If anyone gives you a hard time about your body hair, respond just like Bella: with a good chuckle and a solid "boy, bye."
