Gap Is Dropping a Grown Up Micky Mouse Collection for Disney Fans

Something about the holiday season has a way of bringing out your inner child—no matter how old you get, walking past a stretch of freshly fallen snow and not having the urge to flop down and make a snow angel is damn near impossible. No shame. Given the youthful vibes we’re feeling during this holiday season, Gap’s latest collaboration with Disney couldn’t be more on point for your holiday gift list.

On Monday, December 12, the retailer will drop a magical collection online and in stores, featuring our favorite childhood brand for grown ups—think comfy Mickey Mouse-emblazoned tops, chic graphic tees, and cozy sweatshirts. Despite the cartoonish roots, there are some surprisingly chic pieces in the collection, which is full of nautical colors, baseball tees embroidered with teeny Minnie decals, and some artistic takes on the famous mouse motif.

The latest Mickey and Minnie-inspired line is part of an ongoing collaboration between the two brands that’s been happening since July. So far, Gap has added a touch of the most magical place on earth to their kids collections (in case you're shopping for a mommy-and-me #twinning look), but this is the first release where grown ups can get in on the action.

The best part? Mickey and Minnie-approved outfits are only the beginning. The first wave will be followed by a Dumbo capsule collection on December 26 followed by more of our favorite Disney characters in 2017. Fingers crossed for a grown up take on our favorite Disney princesses.
