There have been many hair transformations this week, but it seems blonde hair is leading the charge. First Bella Hadid wore the color in Paper Magazine, and now Kanye West is back on the scene (thank God) and was spotted with blonde hair, too. Is this the new holiday trend?
On a quick visit to Rick Owens’s furniture show in Los Angeles last night, the singer hit the art scene showcasing his own type of colorful art. The new hairstyle is quite different for West, and oddly reminds us of the days he wore longer, more interesting hair. Just close your eyes and think back to the days of the mullet (circa 2009ish). Remember there was even a petition to grow it back? Oh, how we love Kayne.
The 39-year-old rapper has been through a lot recently. He cancelled a few tours, spent several weeks receiving psychiatric evaluation following a call made to 911 and there have been rumors of a spit with Kim Kardashian, so a color change might be exactly what he needed.

But, there’s good news for Mr. West. According to TMZ, West built a studio in his California mansion so he can "have the privacy he needs to get healthy, while also making new music as ideas come to him." Hmm...could another hair color be on the horizon too? We sure hope so.
We’re hoping he receives the help he needs and that his 2017 is filled with colorful music and even brighter hair.
