Time for some holiday honesty, folks: I, as well as many of my fellow media members, have been holding our breaths for the moment that Kylie Jenner reveals a full-length photo of herself several months pregnant. This is not because we're personally obsessed with the status of Kylie's stomach — it's because the Kardashians and Jenners have turned dramatic social media reveals of personal news into a full-fledged business tactic, and that business thrives on springing big stories on editors and writers on weekends and the holidays. So naturally, we've all been prepping for weeks in order to press that "publish" button and go back to our families ASAP. Anyway, that did not actually happen this year (yet) and the public isn't happy about it. On the bright side, there is one Kylie-related reveal that is still worth checking out, and that is her new LOVE Magazine cover.
Jenner, who is expecting her first daughter with Travis Scott in 2018, may have escaped the clutches cameraman of the highly-anticipated Kardashian Christmas card, leading to speculation as to her whereabouts, but her LOVE Magazine cover for the Spring/Summer 2018 issue still features two touching familial details: the photo was actually taken by Kendall Jenner and the interview is by Kris Jenner. It may even have a sweet hidden message to her future daughter — but more on that momentarily. First, take a look at the photo.

The portrait is, of course, framed quite tight to her face, and it is unclear how recently it was taken and whether she was actually pregnant at the time it was shot. (Though we can't know for sure, the chances are high that she was, given that the original news that she was expecting broke in late September.) As for the photo itself, Jenner's makeup features feathery lashes, a true red lipstick, and — my personal favorite component — exceptionally great eyebrows. Her brows are full, softly angled, and absent of the "gradient look" that she's sometimes been known to go for, which wouldn't have been the best match for this look.
Now, if you want to be really conspiratory about it (which is sort of the game with the Kardashian-Jenner family, correct?), you could read into the headline right under Kylie's face: "Celebrating the Women and Girls of 2018." Given that her first child, reportedly a girl, will be born in 2018, it's possible that this is, in some way, a message devoted to the child Kylie's expecting.
Is she smirking because she knows everyone is waiting for her "big reveal"? Smiling because Kylie Cosmetics may be collaborating with Kourtney in 2018? Or is she just, you know, making a facial expression and I am reading into things because I'm a natural-born conspiracy theorist? The world may ~*never know.
