Salma Hayek is making me want to dye my hair gray.
The actress recently posted a snapshot to Instagram of herself with a wavy, ombré silver lob. “Meet Eva Torres, my new character in the film I just finished, The Hummingbird Project,” she captioned.

This year alone, the actress has sported a number of bold hair colors, in the form of custom wigs. At the Cannes Film Festival, Hayek was seen with a caramel-hued lob, and shortly before, she stepped out with pink curls to match the floral motifs on her Gucci dress, because, of course. Both were created by hairstylist Jennifer Yepez and colorist Aura Friedman.
Hayek’s latest hairstyle is most likely a wig as well, considering she told the New York Times that she doesn’t dye her hair or cover up any white strands. If you know us, we’re all for it — growing older is a beautiful thing! Seeing others embrace that is pure joy.
Although a natural brunette, Hayek, 51, surely rocks gray hair well — and she does so by adding a pair of aviator eyeglasses in the pic.
The Hummingbird Project is an upcoming drama revolving around two high-frequency traders from New York, played by Jesse Eisenberg and Alexander Skarsgård. The two rebel against their high-powered former boss (Hayek’s character) in hopes to strike it rich in a fiber-optic cable deal that runs from Kansas to New Jersey.
The film drops next year, exact date TBD. Until then, this sneak peek photo of Hayek’s silver lob has left us swooning.
