Kim Kardashian Is Basically Naked in Her Latest Twitter Pic

Another day, another photo of Kim Kardashian trying to break the Internet again. On Monday afternoon, Kardashian shared a photo of herself wearing a pair of nude underwear and a long fur coat, opening the outerwear to reveal her right breast. Her nipple is sort of, kind of, blurred, but let's be real — it's there, and it's free as a bird. Oh, how far we've come since she and Emily Ratajkowski were snapping nude mirror photos of themselves with censor bars.

Kardashian has never been shy about showing off her body on social media — and really, why should she be? (Why should any of us be?) Lately, though, we have noticed that nudity is the general theme of her accounts. As W points out, she's recently been posting a lot of "thirst trap" pics, which caused one fan on Twitter to ask, "Is it me, or is @KimKardashian Sooo Self-absorbed.. even when she’s saying Nothing?" Her response? "No it’s not you, I totally am!" Now, we aren't into the idea that posting selfies makes anyone self-absorbed (at least, not in a negative way), so we'll have to disagree with that sentiment, but there's something else about this photo that we do have to disagree with.

Kardashian's free nipple isn't the only controversial part of the photo: In addition to the fur coat and nude underwear, the reality star chose to accessorize her look with cornrows, which earlier today she referred to as "Bo Derek braids." Obviously, this is problematic for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that she should know better by now. Sorry to lecture you, Kim, but alas: We are not actually sorry.

As for the slut-shaming, though, Kim crafted a seemingly perfect response when the same controversy arose in the wake of that infamous "censor bars" photo. "I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives. I don't do drugs, I hardly drink, I've never committed a crime — and yet I'm a bad role model for being proud of my body?" she wrote in an essay on her app. "The body-shaming and slut-shaming — it's like, enough is enough. I will not live my life dictated by the issues you have with my sexuality. You be you and let me be me. I am a mother. I am a wife, a sister, a daughter, an entrepreneur and I am allowed to be sexy."
