A Wizard of Oz Palette Is Coming Soon From the Makers of the Harry Potter Brushes

The geniuses behind the upcoming Harry Potter palette and sold-out wand-shaped make up brushes are following the yellow brick road for their next launch. Storybook Cosmetics announced a Wizard of Oz palette on Instagram yesterday. The picture showed a mock-up of the movie-inspired palette that is in the shape of a green antique book.

Based off of the drawing, the palette will include eight shades of eye shadow. We might have to click our heels three times before finding out what colors they will be. Storybook Cosmetics listed the names of the shades in the mock-up. Surprisingly, none of them are named after the iconic film's main characters like the Tin Man (we'll have to resort to Tarte's new liners for a silver foil finish, instead) or even Dorothy. Instead, her dog, Toto, is the only one who gets a shout out. There's also Poppy, Wicked, Good Witch, Emerald City, Oz, Cyclone, and of course, Yellow Brick Road.

And as if we weren't already pumped about the Wizard of Oz palette, Storybook Cosmetics also teased a Romeo and Juliet one, too. I'm sure if this was around when I had to read the book in middle school, I would have been a lot more into the story. (Sorry, Shakespeare.) Unlike the Wizard of Oz palette, shade names for the star-crossed lovers makeup aren't listed in the mock up. The company's Instagram followers have offered up some great suggestions like Capulet, Montague, and Pilgrim's Kiss.

An exact release date hasn't been announced for either of the palettes yet. However, one of Storybook Cosmetics's founder said in the comments section that they will be available in eight to 10 weeks for $35 to $40.
